The app – which lets you drag video, photos and music to a storyboard or timeline, offers everything you need for editing your clips, from rearranging them to trimming unwanted details. Nevertheless, the user interface – recently overhauled for an iOS 7-friendly look – is relatively straightforward to get to grips with. It scores points for being both easy to use and powerful at the same time, although the fact not all features are free after your initial purchase can rankle at times.
But if you’re serious about editing video on your mobile, and you’re willing to shell out more than twice as much, then Pinnacle Studio is the app you need.
Think video editing on your iPhone, and Apple’s own iMovie app springs to mind.
